Gifts & Donations
MBC has since its inception relied on the generosity and good will of its members and the community or its financial viability. Operating costs rely on rental income. Our rentals are about one half of the fair market value comparisons so that our space can be affordable to various tenants from our community. Our office manager, Carol Snyder, is our only full time employee. Our custodian is part time. Everything else that happens is through volunteer activity. The need for a manager/director for the centre is increasingly apparent. We have had various efforts at fundraisers and some government grants through the years to help pay for various projects.
These efforts need to continue and expand in order for there to be enough revenue for the centre to continue to be viable and to improve.

You are invited to add your name to this list as a current supporter of our efforts to improve our centre.
To receive a tax receipt your cheque should be made out to the Town of Mahone Bay Athletic and Cultural Fund and sent to the centre. The town then makes a grant to the centre from monies received in this way. If you do not need a tax receipt you may make your cheque out to The Mahone Bay Centre. THANK YOU!
